Funeral services for Daniel Floyd "Danny" Benoit, 87, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Chaplain John Humplick officiating. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post #8568 Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2020, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Benoit was born May 29, 1932 in Leroy, Louisiana, to parents, Wilson Benoit and Annie (Duhon) Benoit, and passed away April 28, 2020 in Livingston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the Unites States Army during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred Benoit; and brother, Harold Benoit.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Underwood and boyfriend, Doug Taylor; daughter and son-in-law, Bonnie and Jimmy Hickman; brother and sister-in-law, John "Leo" and Anna Benoit; brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Margie Benoit; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Ella Jagneaux; sister, Barbara Jagneaux; sister, Patsy Jagneaux; sister and brother-in-law, Donna Sue and Lynn Gaudet; grandchildren, Jessica Adams, Joseph Guinn, Brian Baxter, Justin Hickman, and Brodie Hickman; along with numerous other relatives, and friends.
