Obituary

Darl Edward Trent was born on January 3, 1957 in Calhoun County, Texas to Bobby Bert Trent and Dolores (Lola) Ramos Trent. He peacefully departed this life at the age of 64, on Thursday October 14, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. He was surrounded by many loved ones; who will strive to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest. After attending Calhoun High School, Darl proudly served in the United States Navy as an Aircraft Welder. He was a skilled mechanic, repairing and building motorcycles, most of his life. Riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends was his zest for life. He will forever be remembered with love; long after his passing, by his many family members and friends. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand to help others.

Darl is survived by his beloved partner, Sheila Scifres Bonin (BB) and her children; his three children, Danielle Trent Koerth (Robert), Bobby Dillon Trent, and Rachel Clamon-Trent (Taylor); his five grandchildren, Sidney Paige Trent, Robert Ayden Trent, Violet Lola Trent, Elizabeth Peyton Trent, and Warren Edward Kinder; brothers Arthur Joe Trent and Johnny Carroll Soignier; great grandson Dane Thomas Martin; and numerous cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Bobby Bert Trent, mother Dolores (Lola) Ramos Trent, and brothers Ramon Lester Trent and Joseph Hilton Thuet. His final resting place will be in Port O'Connor, Texas, next to his father and brother. He said the time he spent with his father and brothers, were some of the best times of his life.

Two Memorial services will be held to honor the life of Darl; in Livingston, Texas on Saturday November 13th, at the American Legion Post, 6380 Highway 190 West, kickstands up at 12:00 pm, with a 3 hour bike ride ending back at the Post for a Celebration of Life Party into the evening; in Port'O Connor, Texas. On Saturday December 4th, at 2:00 pm, graveside services will be held at the Port O'Connor Cemetery with a reception following at the St Joseph Catholic Church, 101 Washington St, Port O'Connor, Tx.

May the Road rise up to meet you.

May the Wind be always at your back.

May the Sun shine warm upon your face;

The Rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

May God hold you in the Palm of His hand.
