Memorial services for Darlene D. Guenther, 76, of Onalaska, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas with Rev. Robert Hemsath and James Jennings officiating.

Mrs. Guenther was born on June 13, 1941 in Valentine, Nebraska to parents, Ernest Weiss and Olga (Widmann) Weiss, and passed away on December 30, 2017 in Onalaska, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ellen Totton; and brother, Harold Weiss and Richard Weiss.

She is survived by her husband, Roger Guenther of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Krystal Murphy and husband, David of Stuttgart, Germany; son, Todd Guenther and wife, Joy of Angleton, Texas; grandsons, Seiya Murphy, Itsuki Murphy, Koki Murphy, Alex Guenther, Wyatt Guenther, and Sage Guenther; sisters, Irene Kaufman of Valentine, Nebraska and Erna Heinert of Bassett, Nebraska; and brother, Earl Weiss of Hot Springs, South Dakota; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
