Funeral services for David Anthony Franklin, 62, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Jeremy Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Mr. Franklin was born on October 26, 1956 in Texas City, Texas to parents, William Franklin and Carla (McCullough) Franklin, and passed away on December 7, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Edna Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Franklin of Livingston, Texas; son, David Franklin and wife, Ashley of Coldspring, Texas; daughter, Amanda Garcia and husband, Paco of Santa Fe, Texas; grandchildren, Robert Garcia and wife, Brooke, Britany Bruce and husband, Devon, Vincent Garcia and wife, Emily, Jessica Franklin and Kolton White; great-grandchildren, Kolton White, Kayden White, Skylar Bruce, Karter Bruce, and Roman Anthony Garcia; sister, Sherry Lyons and husband, Ric of Livingston, Texas; brother, Roy Franklin and wife, Francis of Leggett, Texas; sister, Linda Duke and husband, Donnie of Livingston; sister, Glenda Parrish and husband, Sunny of Hitchcock, Texas; sister-in-law, Beverly Clifford and husband, Rick of Arkansas; and brother-in-law, Paul Johnson and wife, Patty of Austin, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
