Obituary
Funeral services for David Greer, 58, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Orval Barger officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin just prior to service at 1:00 PM, Sunday, August 17, 2014 also at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston.
Mr. Greer was born on March 24, 1956 in McComb, Mississippi and passed away on August 14, 2014 in Houston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Greer of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Lacie and Raimy Eymard of Galliano, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Joshua David and Dana Greer of Raceland, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Brandie and Jody Matherne of LaRose, Louisiana; daughter, Caroline Hon of Livingston, Texas; son, Will Hon of Livingston, Texas; parents, J.B. and Juanita Greer of Ruth, Mississippi; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Robin Greer of Brookehaven, Mississippi; sister, Kathie Bunch of Brenham, Texas; grandchildren, Nicole Eymard, Kathryn Eymard, Austin Greer, Avery Greer, Paige Matherne, Jace Matherne, and Kylee Greer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Greer will be escorted to his final resting place by pallbearers, Danny Ellis, Chuck LeBlanc, R.J. Austin, J.J. Eftink, Dwayne Land, Josh Saybe, Mike Bates, Kenny Davis, and Charlie Davis.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to M.D. Anderson Hospital or St. Jude's Hospital.
