Memorial services for David Ray Peters, 72, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Doug Loafman officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. in the church.

Mr. Peters was born on December 11, 1944 in Marion, Virginia to parents, Fay D. Peters and Iva (Kindy) Peters, and passed away on November 27, 2017 in Lufkin, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Peters of Livingston, Texas; son, Daniel Ray Peters and wife, Megan of Grand Prairie, Texas; son, Nathan Scott Peters and wife, Rachel of Carbondale, Illinois; daughter, Norita Joy Partner and husband, David of Piedmont, Alabama; brother, Mark Randall Peters and wife, Marsha of Frasier, Colorado; brother, Gary Peters and wife, Carol of Eldora, Iowa; brother, Lyle Dean Peters of Eldersburg, Maryland; and 8 grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
