David Lynn Peterson of Elysian, Fields, Texas died at his residence on September 14, 2015 of natural causes. He was born on August 18, 1968 at Lufkin Memorial Hospital and his parents are Autry E. (Pete) Peterson (Jan) of Lufkin and Sherry Day Foster (Nick) of British Columbia, Ca., his children, Blake Peterson (Kaylynn) and Mason Lee, his brother Christopher E. Peterson of Lufkin, Texas (Sally), the mothers of his children, Eva Kruse of Livingston, Texas and Mystique Sifford of Center, Texas. He also leaves behind grandchildren Madilyn, Remington, and Kynnedy (Blake) all of Livingston, Texas. Audrey and David Graham, his aunt & uncle, and nephew, Brian Graham also mourn his passing.
He is pre-deceased by his brother Donald Charles Peterson (Sedra), grandparents Charles and Mamie Day of Livingston and Eugene and Reba Peterson of Crockett, aunt and Aunt Rebecca (Floyd) of Crockett, Texas.
David was a doting uncle of Joshua Peterson (Jessica, Brandon, Wyatt, Allison), and Andrew Peterson, nieces and nephews Eric, Deja and O'Keefe Peterson (Kennard) and his lifelong friend Andy (Eric) Bickford (Kim) of Austin.
He was a graduate of Livingston High School (1986) and attended Kingwood college.
David was a life-long Eagle Scout and spent many hours camping with his compadres of Troop 97. David's love and talent for music is a testimony instilled in his oldest son, Blake. They shared a common bond through music.
As a sports-fan, David coached son Mason through football, loved skeet-shooting, fantasy football and music.
David spent most of his life in the oil and gas field sales in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 pm on October 3 at All Saints Episcopal Church in Crockett, Texas where David was an acolyte and musician.
His death was premature, unexpected and is mourned by friends and relatives, alike. In leiu of flowers please consider donations to All Saints Episcopal Church, Boy Scouts of America
