Graveside services for Dawson Ryan Courtney, 76, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, October 4, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Feagin Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Walter Smith officiating.

Dawson was born September 30, 1949, in Livingston, Texas and passed away September 29, 2026, in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dawson Emitt Courtney and Ruth Naomi Clamon Courtney.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Courtney of Livingston, Texas; son, Denver Ryan Courtney of Houston, Texas; daughter, Carey Courtney Rodriguez and Kevin of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Devin Ryan Courtney, Ashley Courtney Clark and Newt, Cady Dakota Cross and Emma Ryan Rodriguez; brothers, William Keith Courtney and Kim of Livingston, Texas and Corwin Randall Courtney and Tammy of Houston, Texas; and sister, Blenda Courtney Smtih and Walter of Marietta, Georgia; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
