Debra Jewell Gilbert of Onalaska, Texas was born October 29, 1965 in Kingsville, Texas to James & Oleta Saunders. Debbie left her earthly body on May 13th of this year peacefully in her home to be with our Father in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Oleta Saunders of SanLeon, Texas, and her brother, Kyle Saunders of SanLeon, Texas.

Debbie is survived by her husband, David Gilbert; daughter, Corrie Boudreau; sons, Kenny Gilbert and Keith Gilbert; grandson, William Jaworski; longtime family friend, David Jaworski, all of Onalaska; sister, Cretta Hiar of Dayton, Texas; along with many cousins and friends.

Debbie never met a stranger, she loved animals, riding horses, fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
