Funeral services for Deidre Jo Saunders, 49, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow in the Bluff Creek Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Saunders was born on October 26, 1968 to parents, Merle Lee (Minshew) Barrientez and Gerald Glynn Heron in Fort Worth, Texas. She passed away on January 7, 2018 in Lahaina, Hawaii. During her life, her biggest pleasure was being a wife, mother, and nana. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Nicollette "Paige" Saunders, mother, Merle Lee Barrientez; sisters, Joni Wright and Lori Snyder; brother, Jeffrey Turner; and other family members, Bobby "Pop" Kimes and Haley Land-Shotwell.

She is survived by her husband, Tommy Saunders of Livingston, Texas; father, Gerald Heron of Livingston, Texas; sons, Jefry Saunders of Livingston, and Tommy Saunders II of Beeville, Texas; daughter, Rikki Johnson of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Jeri Brown and Angi Wright both of Livingston, Texas, Toni Anda of Murphy, Texas, Robin Shotwell, Sonja Wallace, Megan Kimes, and Shani Landrey all of Livingston, Texas; brothers, Michael Turner of Fort Worth, Texas, and Jared Turner of Livingston, Texas; sisters-in-law, Rosalie Mistrot and Carolyn Burnett both of Livingston, Texas; brother-in-law, Rodger Saunders of Fort Worth, Texas; and grandchildren, Jayden Saunders, Lauren "Bay" Harrell, Alex Perez, Hudson Cacace, Evin Cacace, Madden Saunders, Shelby, and Jenna; along with numerous other relatives and friends. She was also an honorary member of the Shotwell/Kimes Family
