OBIT FOR DELWIN FRITZ MAAS
Delwin Fritz Mass, age 93, of Goodrich, TX, when home to be with his Lord Jesus on January 5th, 2012 in Houston, TX. He was born in Reutersville, TX on April 23, 1918, to parents, Otto and Clara Beckendorf Maas. Delwin was a WW II Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Irene. Delwin is survived by his wife, Wiletta ""Eva"" Maas; two daughters and one son-in-law, Debra Maas Hughes and Brenda & Ray Phillippe; granddaughter, Tracie Spradlin and husband, Joe; grandson, Randy Phillippe and wife, Audra; brother, Reuben Maas and wife, Mary; seven great grandchildren, David Spradlin, Matthew Spradlin, Michael Spradlin, Hannah Spradlin, Daniel Spradlin, McKenzie Phillippe and Tanner Phillippe; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Chesswood Baptist Church in Livingston. Col. Howard Daniels will conduct the services. Interment will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, January 9, 2012, at Woodlawn Garden of Memories in Houston. Cochran Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
