Obituary
Funeral services for Delwin Thompson, 93, of Coldspring, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Lake Livingston Lutheran Church in Onalaska, Texas. Military Honors will be provided by the VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 4, 2014 before the service begins at 11:00 a.m. until the service begins, in the Lake Livingston Lutheran Church in Onalaska, Texas.
Mr. Thompson was born December 26, 1920 in Walters, Oklahoma to parents, Daniel Benjamin Thompson and Katherine Thompson, and passed away September 18, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and also retired from the Army. He was a member of the Lake Livingston Lutheran Church. He was a warm and great friend and will be truly missed.
He is survived by his brother, Jack Thompson of North Carolina, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
