Funeral services for Dena Michelle Atkinson, 45, of Coldspring, Texas will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the San Jacinto County Fair and Rodeo Grounds in Coldspring, Texas with Bro. Terry Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Wood Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the San Jacinto County Fair and Rodeo Grounds.

Dena was born March 28, 1981, in Houston, Texas and passed away May 25, 2026, in Coldspring, Texas. She is preceded in death by brothers, Steven Atkinson and Paul Rogers; and mother-in-law, Claudette Faulkner.

She is survived by her husband, Jeremy Atkinson; daughter and son-in-law, Ma’Kenzie and Hank Kelso; son, Corbin Atkinson; son, Zander Taylor; daughter and son-in-law, Taylor and Andrew Muir; grandson, Jackson Muir; and sister, Stacy Rogers; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
