Funeral services for Dennis Wayne Key Sr., 66, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Don Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Holhausen-Darby Cemetery in Moscow, Texas. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

Mr. Key was born July 30, 1950 in Houston, Texas to parents, William Eli Key Sr. and Jaunita (Baker) Key, and passed away March 17, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. He retired from the Houston Fire Department after 21 years of service and then was employed with TDCJ for 15 years. He is preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Key of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Brian Baxter of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Dennis "Bubba" and Jackie Key of Onalaska, Texas; mother, Juanita Key of Houston, Texas; brother, Bill Key of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Amber and Josh Findley, Hunter Baxter, Trevor Ruthstrom, Madison Key, and Shelby Key all of Onalaska, Texas; great granddaughter, Emaleigh Findley of Onalaska, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
