Deryl Havard Tompkins, 77, of Livingston, Texas passed away in his home December 2, 2021, with his loving wife of 35 years by his side. Deryl spent most of his life in Livingston, Texas and had many friends and family members. Deryl never met a stranger and touched so many lives by just taking the time to have a conversation with someone. Deryl had a particular fondness for and was proud to be a member of the Livingston High School Class of 1962. He is preceded in death by his parents, B.M. and Frances Tompkins; infant twin brother; and grandson, Charles Brandon Parker.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy of Livingston, Texas; four sons and their spouses, Scott and Sharon Parker of Rockdale, Texas, David and Yolanda Parker of Georgetown, Texas, Gregory and Wendee Parker of Austin, Texas, and Darren Tompkins; 16 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; multiple nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins whom he held dear.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Green and White Scholarship Fund Program with Livingston High School.

Celebration of Life will held Friday, December 10, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Schwab City Baptist Church.
