Destiny Shyan Shults 11 of Livingston passed away Thursday January 8, 2009. Funeral services will be Saturday January 17, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Livingston, with Rev. Gregory Gerald and Tony Griffo officiating. Burial will follow in the Camp Ruby Cemetery.

Destiny was born May 27, 1997 in Cleveland. She was in the 5th grade and was very much a ""girly"" girl. She loved to sing, go shopping, and go to church with her family. Destiny was always the protective one of her friends and family, she always took care of the ones around her. In 2006 she won 1st place in the Ms. Sunburst pageant.

Destiny is survived by her father and step mother Richard and Jammie Shults, mother and step father Shirley Jeanette Hoffer and Ronnie McCarty, brothers Brandon Shults, Cameron Smith, Jonathan Stiles, Corbin McCarty, and sister Carlye McCarty. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jerry and Susan Shults, Glenn Michael Hoffer, Rick and Rebecca Logan, JR and Diane Certain, Tony and Becky Griffo, Willie and Linda Lancaster, and Mary Gamble, aunts and uncles Michael and Jennifer Hoffer, Billie and Cam Shults, Bradley Shults, and Tonya Lancaster. A host of extended family and friends also survive her.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Hoffer, Billy Shults, Bradley Shults, Leon ""Bud"" Hartwig, Kevin Curry, and Keith Evans.
