Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2012 in Livingston, TX for Dewey Vernon Hunter, age 78 of Rye, TX. Internment is at Peebles Cemetery and Rev. Clyde Somers will conduct the service.
Dewey was born on August 18, 1933 in New Orleans, LA to parents, George Ivan Hunter and Gladys Powell Hunter. He passed away on January 15, 2012 in Conroe, TX.
Dewey was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gladys Hunter; wife, Barbara Hunter and brother, Bill Hunter. He is survived by five sons, Robert Alexander, Gary Allen, Ronald Glenn Hunter, Dewey Wayne Hunter and John Hunter; one daughter, Linda Hunter; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
