Graveside services for Diane Dawn Monroe, 70, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Mrs. Monroe was born January 7, 1949 in Oak Park, Illinois to parents, Al Dyon and Loretta (Connolloy) Dyon, and passed away on April 19, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Monroe.

She is survived by her son, Tim Ponkonin of Livingston; daughter-in-law, Jamie Benn of Livingston; grandson, Jesse LaSalle and wife, Jessica of Spring; granddaughter, Talia Karimian and husband, Shawn of Livingston; grandson, Drew Ponkonin of Livingston; great-grandchildren, Jordynn Rodriguez, Jace LaSalle, Cheryl Karimian, and Hailey LaSalle; sister, Darlene Jergensen and husband, Steven; sister, Judy Puffenbarger and husband, Roger; brother, Terry Dyon and wife, Rene; and brother, Bill Dyon and wife, Judy; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
