Memorial services for Dino Momayezi, 74, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Deacon Jerome Losack officiating.

Dino Momayezi was born December 18, 1944 in Tehran, Iran, to parents, Medhi Momayezi and Farouk Niazmand, and died February 3, 2019 in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Momayezi left his home country at the age of 17, returning only once in his lifetime, and entered college at George Washington University. After studying there, he made his way to Houston, Texas, where he entered the University of Houston, earning a degree in Business.

He opened his first business, a restaurant in 1972, working for twelve years in this industry. He then made his way to Livingston, Texas and began another career in construction, building homes, office buildings, boat houses, bulk heads, and the like. Not being satisfied with just his career, he went into the cattle business, where he continued until his death. He had a deep and abiding love for all animals, land and wildlife.

He is preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Momayezi is survived by his wife of forty nine years, Jewel Day Momayezi; daughter, Sheerin Ager and husband, Michael; daughter, Farrah Reid and husband, Mike; granddaughters, Hannah and Haleigh Ager; step-granddaughters, Sofie and Alex Reid; step-grandson, Vincent Reid; mother, Farouk Niazmand; brother, Moe Momayezi and wife, Soraya; sister, Feresh Youssefi and husband, Abbas; sister, Fee M. Bahrami and husband, Hamid; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Helping Hands Ministry at the First United Methodist Church or to the SPCA of Livingston, Texas.
