Funeral Services for Dixie Christian Duke, age 89, of Livingston, will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Cochran Funeral

Home Chapel in Livingston with Rev. James Frazier officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston. Visitation

will be from 5:00 P.M.- 7:00 P.M., Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home.

She was born on August 18, 1922 in Richland, Virginia to Parents, Henry Christian and Georgia (Fox) Christian and passed away on February 1,

2012 in Livingston.

Dixie was involved in many organizations particularly with the First United Methodist Church and the Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. On April 27, 1945 she married her husband, Edny Duke and they had a wonderful life together. They had two children and worked

very hard to provide for their family.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Henry Christian and Georgia (Fox) Christian; and Husband, Edny Duke.

Dixie is survived by her Daughter and Son-In-Law, Chris and Bud Robison of Livingston, Texas; Son and Daughter-In-Law, Thomas and Dianna

Duke of Livingston, Texas; Brother, Dale Z. Christian of Bluefield, Virginia; Grandchildren, Chaz Duke, Amy Vaughan, Lora Lee Dickerson,

Jake Robison, Annie Robison; and 8 Great Grandchildren. Numerous Other Relatives and friends also survive.
