At a very early age she accepted Christ and attended Garner Chapel Missionary Baptist church. Faith, family, and work ethic was the foundation of Dixie's life and the values that she instilled within her children and grandchildren. Dixie demonstrated the importance of having a good work ethic and she worked for the Cochran family for over 40 years.
