Dewitt Lee (D.L.) Lacy Jr. was born August 29th, 1943, in Athens, Texas to Dewitt Lee Lacy Sr. and Mary Lou (Fancher) Lacy. A longtime resident of Livingston, Texas he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

D.L. owned the Lazy L western store, was a realtor for Dickens Land Co. and retired from Bounds Chevrolet with many loyal customers. He was a lover of golf, hunting, the Astros and all things Western.  A wonderful cook, DL loved nothing more than boiling crawfish for family and friends.

He is survived by Kristin Trapp & husband Scott Trapp and Lora Lee Dickerson & husband Jason Dickerson both of Georgetown, Texas. Grandchildren Chase & Colby Trapp and Sam & Grady Dickerson.

D.L. will be missed for his quick wit, humor, friendship and personality. Please join us September 21st, 2024, at Cochran Funeral Home for a celebration of D.L.'s life with family and friends at 2pm.
