Graveside services for Dolores Marie Platt, 88, of Granbury, Texas, will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chester, Texas.

Mrs. Platt was born October 25, 1932 in Houston, Texas, to parents, William Henry Payne and Doris Johanna (Fahrenthold) Payne, and passed away October 12, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. She taught school for 20 years in Corrigan, Texas. Mrs. Platt was a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Donald Ray Platt.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Kay Spain of Granbury, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Platt and Donna of Moscow, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Clay Platt and Brenda of Moscow, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Karen Bostock and Jim of Moscow, Texas; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 brothers; and one sister; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
