Funeral services for Don Lambert, 72, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Pat Hitt officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Lambert was born October 12, 1942 in Buna, Texas to parents, Thomas Lambert and Rebecca (Eubanks) Lambert, and passed away June 8, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During his life, he served as a police officer for the City of Livingston, security for the Trinity River Authority, and was an elder for the Pinewood Cowboy Church. Don retired from the Scenic Loop Volunteer Fire Department. He will always be remembered as being a loving husband and father. He never met a stranger and was loved by many and known by all. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Chester Lambert and sister; Evelyn Timms.
He is survived by his wife, Hardie Lambert of Livingston, Texas; sons, Tommy Ray Lambert of Arlington, Texas, David Lynn Lambert and Louvinia of Lufkin, Texas, and Paul Lloyd Lambert of Livingston, Texas; step-daughter, Elizabeth Parten and Duane of Angelton, Texas; step-son, Joe Casas and Serena of Livingston, Texas; step-daughters, Veronica Minatrea and Craig, and Becky Casas all of Livingston, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Lambert and Jo Beth of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Bettie Faye McNair of Lufkin, Texas, and Dottie Henserling of Woodville, Texas; along with numerous other family and friends.
