Funeral services for Don M. Travis, Sr., age 79, of Livingston, Texas will be Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Don Billman and Rev. David Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Big Sandy Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas. Visitation is Tuesday, August 2, 2011, from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home.

He was born August 27, 1931 in Kirbyville, Texas the son of Louie Travis and Lodecia (Lynch) Travis and passed away July 31, 2011 in Livingston, Texas.

Don is survived by Sharon Travis, wife, Sherri Holmes and husband Eugene Holmes, daughter and son-in-law, Don Travis, Jr. and wife Jolene Travis, son and daughter-in-law, Terry Travis, son, Danny Travis and wife Carol Travis, son and daughter-in-law, Geraldine Crane, sister, Helen Travis, mother of his children, grandchildren, Alicia Owens, Tara Revia, Brooke Hawkins, Tara Perry, Linsi Broom, Dustin Travis, Randi Travis, Joe Don Doyle and Gerald Cobb, 13 great grandchildren. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
