Donald Galloway was born in Houston, Texas at the St. Joseph's Hospital on December 26, 1941. He was the son of Garnet and Geneva Galloway. He grew up in Livingston, attending Livingston schools and was an important part of the 1960 Graduation Class. Donald joined the Air Force after graduation. When discharged, he returned to Texas and attended Sam Houston State University and graduated with a Masters in Business. He and his family lived in Huntsville, TX, Everett, WA, San Francisco, CA, Denver, CO, Arlington, TX, and then back to Livingston.

Donald is predeceased by his parents; second wife, Kathy Bone; and brother, Jimmy Galloway.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Lola and Phil Hoy; granddaughters, Whitney Hoy Andre and husband, Devin, and Hannah Hoy and fiancé, Shane Suggs; brother, Bill Galloway and wife, Alvene; sister, Genette Harrelson and husband, Kenny; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a celebration of his life in the spring.

His generous heart, sense of humor, and welcoming smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
