Graveside services for Donald Clifford McAdams Jr., 62, of Shepherd, Texas will be held Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas.

Donald was born March 7, 1964 in Liberty, Texas and passed away March 7, 2026 in Shepherd, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donalds Clifford McAdams Sr. and Janie Marie Scott McAdams; and granddaughter, Alexis Hughes.

He is survived by his son, Donald McAdams III of Shepherd, Texas; daughter, Lydia Adams; son, George Hughs and wife Cecily of Huntsville, Texas; daughter, Kasi Mapston of Trinity, Texas; daughter, Keri Young of Illinois; son, Sean Engle Collinsworth; siblings, Pamela Barroza of Shepherd, Texas, Lonnie McAdams and wife Laurie of Ace, Texas, Michelle Engle and husband Carl of Livingston, Texas, and LaShonda McAdams of Coldspring, Texas; grandchildren, Hunter McAdams, Zoe McAdams, Ketan Mapston, Zachary Hughes, Molly Mapston, Olivia Hughes, Sophia Mapston, Aiden Young, Paecyn Young, Haleigh Hickson, Jacob Hickson, and Alexis Adams; and great grandchildren, Grecyen Emmerson, Teagan White, Dale Hickson, and Za’Korieus Hatchett; ; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
