*** UPDATE - SERVICES WILL BE HELD IN THE COCHRAN FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL IN LIVINGSTON, TEXAS DUE TO WEATHER ***
Graveside services for Donald Edward Munson, 76, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. John Taylor officiating. Military Honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Munson was born August 5, 1939 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Louis Munson and Abby Lou (Allen) Munson, and passed away May 15, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. During his life, Donald proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Andrea Kay Munson.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mitch and Kristie Munson of Huntsville, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Clint Warren of Boerne, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Kim Munson of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Larissa Nowaski, Colton Munson, Caitlin Warren, Keegan Nowaski, Delanie Warren, Holly Munson, Brandon Munson, and Ryan Munson; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Debbie Munson of Livingston, Texas; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Paul Gross of Houston, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Munson Lake Association, c/o Hershel Mackey, 652 East Taylor Lake Circle, Livingston, Texas 77351 or to the charity of your choice.
