Donna Lynn Crain was born in Rockdale, Texas, on March 20, 1965, to Thomas and Bernice Alford. She was married to and survived by Leslie Dell Crain on August 7, 1982, in Livingston, Texas where she spent her life until her death on June 13, 2021, in Galveston, Texas. She is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Ashley and Colt Ensign of Woodville, and Erica and Jesse Nicholson of Livingston. She was lovingly known as "Nema" by her six grandchildren, Grace Ensign, Roark Ensign, Jack Nicholson, Scarlett Nicholson, Jett Nicholson, and Barrett Nicholson. Along with her parents, Donna is also survived by her sister, Rhonda Dahse, all of Livingston. She was blessed with a large family and is leaving behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donna was an amazing homemaker and mother, famous pie maker, and seamstress. Helpful and generous, hospitable and hilarious. When she entered a room, laughter was soon the predominant sound. It was impossible to be near her and not smile. She was deeply loved by all who knew her.

She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1980 and was his faithful servant until her death. As such, she had faith she would one day see all her dear loved ones again in an Earthly Paradise.
