Graveside services for Doris Jean Grimes, 89, of Livingston, Texas will be held Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Bold Springs Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Doris was born August 8, 1936 in Austin, Texas and passed away March 2, 2026, in Corrigan, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; Nealy Harris and Opal Davis Harris; husband, David Grimes; daughter, Lisa Grimes; brother, Leroy Harris; sister, Trudie Neal; and brother, Curtis Harris.

She is survived by her sons, Reggie Grimes and wife Tammy, and David Grimes; 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as a host of friends.
