Obituary
Funeral services for Doris Gay Jones, 89, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, May 8, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Holly Grove Baptist Church in Segno, Texas with Billy Brackin officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Segno, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Jones was born February 14, 1926 in Hortense, Texas to parents, Roy Gay and Ruby (Littles) Gay, and passed away May 3, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jones; a baby brother; husband, Charles E. Jones; sons, Thomas R. Jones and Joseph G. Jones; and a sister-in-law, Muriel Duff.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Bill Mayhew of Segno, Texas; grandchildren, Austin Jones,Troy Jones and Stephanie, Kerri Proctor and Tony Proctor Jr., Billy Mayhew Jr., Erin Wheeler, Matthew Jones, Bret Jones, Ricky Jones, Timothy Jones and Elizabeth, and Jason Jones; great-grandchildren, Tony Proctor III and Katie, Jackson Wheeler, Joshua Wheeler, Kennedy Wheeler, Jessica Jones, Jacob White, Ryan Jones, Alyssa Jones, Nathan Jones, Devin Proctor, Cody Mayhew, Payton Jones, Dusty Miller, and Justin Miller; great-great granddaughter, Rylie Proctor; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Delores and Rastus Maze, Mary Beth and T.H. Bailey; brother-in-law, Harvey Jones; sister-in-law, Tammy Jones-Deem; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
