Services for Doris Virginia Marcus, 85, of Houston, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2023 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Doris was born September 22, 1937 in Darnell, Louisiana and passed away in Houston, Texas on March 11, 2023. She is preceded by her parents, Charlie Lee George and Daisy (Pylant) George; husband, Francis Elmer Marcus; and sisters, Louise Sinclair, Susie George, Juanita Parsons, Nettie Hamm, and Lucille Wallace.

She is survived by her sister, Carol Shaffer and husband Allen of Arizona as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
