Doris Jeanette Messimer, 93, of Livingston, Texas was born October 3, 1931 in Jacksonville, Texas and passed away February 23, 2025 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Box and Ona (Gibson) Box' husband, Kyle Messimer; and grandson, Shaun Messimer.

She is survived by her son, James Messimer of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Peggy Williams and husband Alan of Goodrich, Texas; grandchildren, Walter Luebe and Tara Cooke; and great grandchild, Penelope Cooke; along with numerous cousins, longtime friends, and church family.
