Doris Ann Nettles' Obituary
Doris Ann McWhorter Nettles, 84, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2025, in Slidell.
Doris was born February 4, 1941, in Greenville, Texas, to Francis Charles McWhorter and Zona Rankin McWhorter. In 1960 she married Royce Gene Nettles in LaMarque, Texas. In 1976 the couple moved to Slidell.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Royce Gene Nettles; three children, Paul Nettles (Carrie), Mark Nettles (Deanna), Cris Nettles (Carrie); three grandchildren, Tyler Nettles, Zoe Nettles, and Cate Nettles.
Graveside services will be held in Doris' honor on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Nettles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.
