Memorial services for Doris Pounds, 91, of Bryan, Texas will be held Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Joseph Day officiating.

Mrs. Pounds was born February 29, 1928 in Beeville, Texas to parents, Charlie Cisneros and Consuelo (Coronado) Cisneros, and passed away August 18, 2019 in Bryan, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Edwin Pounds; daughters, Sheila Sheldrake and Laurie Kay Hart; son, Stephen Douglas Sheldrake; granddaughter, Tawanna Heidelberg; 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Bridges and husband, David; granddaughter, Jennifer Dukes; grandsons, Ryan Bridges, Michael Scott and Stephen Sheldrake; brother, Rudy Cisneros; and honorary son, Joseph Day; along with numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Doris was a loving mother and wife who was very strong in her faith. She was kind and compassionate to everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by everyone she touched.
