Obit Doris Inez Reeves

Funeral Services for Doris Inez Reeves, age 79 of Trinity, Texas, will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Revival Center Church of God in Onalaska, Texas. Bishop T. Wayne Dority and Rev. Clay Duckworth will conduct the services. Pallbearers are: Curtis Ritchy, Mickie Barton, Ray Hines, James Dunaway, Jamie Johnson, Scott Spann, Kenny Johnson and Willard ""Willie"" Johnson, Jr. Following the church service, interment will be held at Eastern Gate Cemetery in Trinity, Texas.

Doris was born in Carlisle, Texas, to parents, Charlie B. Johnson and Leola Starnes Johnson on May 26, 1933. She married Gerald Reeves on March 14, 1953, at Assembly of God Church in Trinity, Texas. Doris passed away on July 25, 2012, at her home in Trinity. She was a member of Revival Center Church of God in Onalaska.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Leola Johnson, three brothers, Clayton Johnson, Clarence Odis Johnson and Willard Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Gerald Reeves of Trinity; daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Gene Evans of Livingston; son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Rene Reeves of Shepherd; two grandsons Gerry Solomon and wife, Kasey of Jacksonville, Florida, and Phillip Solomon of Trinity; two granddaughters, Natalie Reeves and Lauren Haggie of Shepherd; four great grandchildren, Kloe, Lanna, Layla and Luke; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert ""Dutch and Debbie Johnson of Fairfield, TX, and John and Sharon Johnson of Bryan, Texas; and one sister and brother-in-law, Edna Johnson and Jimmy Joe Walker of Livingston, Texas.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 27, 2012, at Revival Center Church of God in Onalaska.
