Graveside services for Dorothy Loretta Aldridge, 98, of Leander, Texas will be held Monday, October 12, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chris Knox officiating.

Dorothy was born December 15, 1927, in Galveston, Texas and passed away October 7, 1016, in Leander, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Lee Huggins and Clara Mary Scheub Huggins; husband, James L. Aldridge; brother, Raymond Huggins; sisters, Joyce Manning and Eleanor Fenton; and grandsons, Jeremy Berkhalter and Joshua Burkhalter.

She is survived by her son, Gary McClendon and wife Lynn; daughters, Gayle Gallaher and husband John, Carolyn Garrett, and Lynda Laymance and husband David; grandchildren, Shawn Berkhalter and Marla, Dustin Burkhalter, Kaleb Antley and Meredith, Jacqueline Yanez and Misael, and Lindsay Hall and Austin; great grandchildren, Devin Burkhalter, Hunter Hall, Winton Antley, and Nixon Antley; and sister, May Heatherly; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
