Obituary
Graveside services for Dorothy G. Barnett, 74, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Monday, February 1, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Welthy Cemetery in Normangee, Texas, with Rev. Dale Evans officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 5:00 – 8: 00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.
Mrs. Barnett was born August 26, 1941 in Freeport, Texas to parents, Willard Heath and Thelma (Swallow) Heath, and passed away January 28, 2016, in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Willard Thomas "Bozo" Heath; and husband of 46 years, Marvin Oliver.
She is survived by her husband, Jay Barnett of Onalaska, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Barbara Oliver of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Shane Scogins of Willis, Texas; grandchildren, Shelbie Asaro, Bailey Scogins, Chassidy Stitt, Alli Scogins, and Dayton Scogins; great-grandchild, Mikayla Oliver; sisters, Bonnie Keith and husband, David of Normangee, Texas, Diann Linger and husband, Michael of College Station, Texas, and Carrie "T9C" Sanders and husband, Harlon of Normangee, Texas; brother, Calvin Heath and wife, Janie of Normangee, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
