Graveside services for Dorothy "Lois" Crawford, 77, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett, Texas with Chaplin Jason Sandefer officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, March 13, 2015, beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Crawford was born December 7, 1937 in Sublime, Texas to parents, Louie Weyland Layton and Evelyn (Willeford) Layton, and passed away March 10, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Crawford; parents; brother, Farrell Layton; sisters, Nona Joy Layton, Evelyn Delette Briscoe and Ina Loy Kortz; and grandson, Walter "Bubba" Heflin II.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Walter Heflin of Livingston, Texas; stepson, Bobby Crawford and wife, Glenda; stepdaughter, Linda Jenkins and husband, Terry; brothers, Robert Layton and wife, Betty of Sheridan, Texas and Weyland Layton and wife, Lou Emma of Rosenberg, Texas; sisters, Cheryl Briscoe of Livingston, Texas, Billie Thomas of Livingston, Texas, Donna Linnemier and husband, Joe of Sheridan, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
