Funeral Services for Dorothy Jean Damon, age 70, of Cleveland, Texas, was held Friday, November 4, 2011 at 12:30 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston. Burial was at Rosewood Cemetery in Humble, Texas, at 3:00 PM. Rev. Tiger Coffman conducted the services. Dorothy was born on August 17, 1941 in Stubenville, Ohio, to parents, Orville Howard and Betty Schultz Wyer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil Damon, brother, Buddy Wyer and great grandson, Braydon Glasemann. Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Ann Marie Damon of Cleveland, TX, Peggy Damon of Woodville, TX, Debbie Duque of Humble, TX, and one son, Bubba Damon of Lufkin, TX, and one adopted daughter, Leanne Johnson, five sisters, Kathy Holt of Texas City, TX, Mary Ann Coffman of Tomball, TX, Patty Bedell of Utah, Jeanette Cole of Angleton, TX and Jackie Gaw of Pasadena, TX, seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn Gardner, Kyle Mata, Stephanie Butler, Eric Glasemann, Brandie Duque, Latisha Duque and Daniel Damon. Pallbearers were, Eric Glasemann, Howard ""Champy"" Simpson, Roger Chavarria, Leonard Pond, David Duque and Jason Lucas. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
