Obituary
Funeral services for Dorothy Abilene Knebel, 87, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Billy Bracken officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Monday, April 27, 2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. Knebel was born December 9, 1927 in Holly Grove, Texas to parents, Walter F. Rhodes and Carrie B. (Williams) Rhodes, and passed away April 25, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she loved to cook for her family. She also loved to tend to her home and flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Travis Alan Knebel; grandson, Jarrod Knebel; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth H. Knebel of Livingston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Walter and Joanie Knebel of Livingston, Texas; grandsons, Brandon Knebel and fiancé, Rachel Klett, Bradley Knebel, Stephen Knebel; sister-in-law, Doris Andrew of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; special niece, Winona "Topsy" Horton of Livingston, Texas; special friend, Thelma Banks of Goodrich, Texas; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
