Obituary
Funeral services for Dorothy Ada McGilvray, 92, of Onalaska, Texas will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Sharon Kapsch officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mrs. McGilvray was born November 5, 1922 in Cook County, Illinois to parents, Bert Rische and Rose (Hildebrandt) Rische, and passed away September 4, 2015 in Onalaska, Texas. During her life, Dorothy was a loving, caring and giving wife, mother, and grandma. She was so full of life and spunk and she touched everyone's heart when they met her. She was the base of her family and she will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cyril McGilvray and brother, Donald Rische.
She is survived by her daughters, Janet Karber of Midway, Texas and Cynthia Everett of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Shaun Karber, Dale Agent and Vanessa Agent; great-grandchildren, Nolan Karber and Ryland Agent; brother, Frank Rische of Illinois; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
