Graveside services for Dorothy Bell Shockley, 86, of Weimer, Texas, will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Jones Prairie Cemetery in Leggett, Texas with Rev. Harold Isaacs officiating..
Ms. Shockley was born October 1, 1930 in Polk County, Texas to parents, Theodore Meadows and Beatrice (Price) Meadows, and passed away January 7, 2017 in Houston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Walton Meadows, Bill Meadows, and W.T. Meadows; son, Charles Murry; and daughters, Diane Shipley and Debbie Murry.
He is survived by her daughter, Jerri Smith and Wayne of Springtown, Texas; son, Frank Murry of Weimer, Texas; sisters, Deloris McCarty and Frank of Leggett, Texas, Corine Abbott and Earl of Leggett, Texas, Dolly Martone of Kingwood, Texas, Annatta Bonds of Crosby, Texas, and Daphene Placker and Collis of Livingston, Texas; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
