Dorothy Ellen (Cox) Smith, born July 26, 1931 to Fred and Gladys Cox of Holly Grove, Texas and passed away August 16, 2022 in Livingston, Texas at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ezra Darnell Smith; and infant daughter, Diane; along with her brothers, Hubert and RA Cox; and sister, Marylene Luther.

She is survived by her son, David Smith, wife Sissy, three grandchildren, and five great grandchildren; youngest sister, Edith Steagall and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Holly Grove Cemetery at 10 a.m. Visitation is Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Cochran Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m.
