Funeral services for Dorothy Ollie Valentine, 86, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, August 9, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Soda Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Wayne Bickley officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 9, 2020, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Soda Baptist Church.

Mrs. Valentine was born January 27, 1934 in Knoxville, Tennessee, to James Howard Scarbrough and Sarah Ruth Scarbrough, and passed away August 4, 2020 in Lufkin, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Grover Cleveland Valentine; and sisters, Birdie, Betty, and Anna Belle.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Terry Valentine and Anna of Livingston, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Debra Valentine Dillard and Jim of Austin, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Aaron Valentine and Audry of Pearland, Texas; grandchildren, Terry Valentine Jr., Steven Valentine, Peggy Valentine, Anthony Dillard, Danielle Dumas, Matthew Valentine, Charlotte Hill and Blake, Vonessa Alsup, Devona Montgomery and Kenny, and Brittani Harris; along with numerous great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
