A memorial service for Dorothy Marlene Velasco, 67, of Livingston, Texas will be held Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church on the Lake in Livingston, Texas with Ty Dolney officiating.

Dorothy was born August 26, 1958 in Tampa, Florida and passed away September 5, 2025 in Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nelson Henry Sucarichi and Marlene Joy (Singletary) Dillard; husband, Robert Michael Velasco; sister, Jackie Soape; brother, Curtis Wood; and 2 grandbabies.

She is survived by her son, Brian Moreland and Natalie of Gonzales, Texas; daughter, Christina Gonzales of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brandon Moreland, Olivia Moreland, Abbey Moreland, Katie Moreland, Raiden Gonzales, and Ava Joy Gonzales; sister, Sharon Smitherman and Michael of Livingston, Texas; and brothers, Henry Polston and Denise of Livingston, Texas, Nelson Sucarichi and Madelyn of Broaddus, Texas, George Sucarichi and Marsha of Baytown, Texas, and Richard Dillard and Jennifer of Livingston, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
