Graveside services for Dorothy L. Walters, 94, of Lucedale, Mississippi, will be held Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the Menard Chapel Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating.

Mrs. Walters was born July 2, 1926 in Beaumont, Texas to parents, Thomas M. Scurlock and Eva Lena (Brunson) Scurlock, and passed away March 13, 2021 in Lucedale, Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, W.D. Walters.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Gunn of Benndale, Mississippi; granddaughter, Vickie Babineaux of Austin, Texas; grandson, Johnny Runnels and wife, Dorla of Benndale, Mississippi; great-grandchildren, Tamara Pitalo, Johny Caffey, and Kelly Caffey all of Mississippi, Virginia Platz of New Mexico, and Danny Platz of Washington; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
