Services for Dorothy Rae Watkins, 85, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, just prior to the service.

Dorothy was born February 19, 1937 in Terry, Mississippi and passed away January 21, 2023 in Livingston, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert William Patterson and Callie Ethel (Fleming) Patterson; brothers, Robert W. Patterson and James Henry Patterson; sister, Doris Mae Jackson; and brother, Charles Edwin Patterson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lucian Watkins; sons, Eric and Travis Watkins; sisters, Irene Blanco, Earline Harper, and Margaret Rose; and brothers, Bobby Patterson and Frankie Patterson; along with numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Kevin Lavergne, Johnny Terrell, Terry Harper, Matt Patterson, Gene Patterson, and Cliff Jackson.
