Graveside services for Dortha Mae Palmour, 92, of Lufkin, Texas and formerly of Livingston, Texas will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, May 2, 2014, at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Aubrey Knox officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, May 2, 2014 before the service begins at Forest Hill Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Pinecrest Retirement Community, 1302 Tom Temple Drive, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

Mrs. Palmour was born on August 15, 1921 in Lehigh, Oklahoma and passed away on April 27, 2014 in Lufkin, Texas. She was a Baptist by faith and a member of Blanchard Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Ellen (Wood) Lovinggood; husband, Harold Palmour; and granddaughter, Misti Ayers.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Pam Palmour of Houston, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Sid and Vickie Palmour of Graham, Texas; grandson and wife, Phillip and Kimberly Palmour of Graham, Texas; granddaughter, Anjela Palmour of Houston, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Becky and Patrick Gilgour of Houston, Texas; great-grandchildren, Everett Gilgour, Eliza Gilgour, Chloe Palmour, and Elijah Palmour; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
