Memorial services for Dottie Lou Sheffield, 73, of Shepherd, Texas, will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Sheffield was born December 11, 1945 in Liberty, Texas to parents, Emit Carlton and Fannie (Wade) Carlton, and passed away October 26, 2019 in Shepherd, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Grady Ener; and sister, Emerline Joiner.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley Sheffield of Shepherd; sons, Earnest Ener and Nancy of Shepherd; Ricky Ener of Pasadena, James Ener and Denise of Shepherd, and Justin Reeves and Amber of Shepherd; brother, Robert Carlton and Karen of Dayton; and sister, Barbara Smith of Dayton; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
